Techzle 17 will be in the shops from tomorrow or on your doorstep this week. What are you reading in our packed magazine this week?
Hyundai gets a compact crossover in the form of the Bayon. It looks promising, but the competition is fierce in that segment. This week you can read in Techzle whether the Bayon makes a good first impression and whether this Hyundai can make it difficult for cars like the Ford Puma and Skoda Kamiq.
Another Hyundai car in the compact segment, the i20, has also arrived. In an earlier comparison, he managed to narrowly beat the German competition in the form of a Volkswagen Polo and an Opel Corsa. As an endurance tester, the same i20 competes against the best that France has to offer in this class: the Renault Clio and Peugeot 208. See if he makes just as good an impression.
Of a completely different order is the Audi SQ2 that will be discussed this week. It was visually and technically refined, but fortunately one thing remained the same: a power of 300 hp is distributed over both axles. The big question is therefore how the innovations are expressed.
The SQ2 is not the only sporty car from the Volkswagen Group that is featured, because we also compared the different sporty versions of the current Volkswagen Golf. With the arrival of the new Golf R, an interesting power stage has arisen, which starts with the GTI. Which offers the best total package, the GTI, GTI Clubsport or the R?
Of a much more modest order is the Honda N-One that shines this week in Blits Bezit. A wonderful retro creation from Honda, which of course was never delivered through the official channels. That is secretly a shame, but luckily this copy came to the Netherlands as a ‘souvenir’ after its proud owner saw it in the showroom in Japan.
In Klokje Around this week also attention for a compact Japanese, only that copy is in a significantly lesser condition than the Honda above. A Daihatsu Cuore with more than 3 tons on the counter, which was bought in a terrible condition for only € 200. That can never be much, you would say. Whether that is indeed the case, we would like to hear from judge Tim.
All this and more can be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will be delivered to your door within two working days.
