1. The Witness
The Witness is one of the best games to come out in 2016 and now you can just play the full game on your iPhone or iPad. The idea is that you end up on an island full of puzzles. It is a beautiful world, but the main role is still reserved for the brain teasers.
Each puzzle teaches you a little more about the game’s unique puzzle language. If you don’t understand a puzzle, it pays to walk around and get started elsewhere. Who knows, you might learn something new that will help you understand those previous puzzles. You are completely free to go, stand and puzzle wherever you want. The Witness is such a game that takes over your head completely. In the shower, before you go to sleep and immediately when you wake up, the lines in your thoughts run through.

2. Thimbleweed Park
This is a point-and-click adventure from game legend Ron Gilbert (The Secret of Monkey Island). Although it is a modern game, it still looks old-fashioned. That improves the atmosphere. The gameplay also feels retro. Tap a word like ‘use’, ‘talk to’ or ‘open’ and then an object to take an action. The story is about two FBI agents who solve a murder. Thimbleweed Park is much more than nostalgia and an excellent standalone game.

3. OPUS: Rocket of Whispers
In OPUS you help two people build a rocket so they can give their loved ones a space funeral. It is a unique adventure, not only because of the special and emotional story. The gameplay is also unique. Sometimes you are outside looking for parts for the rocket, other times you focus on conversations and build things into your base. Little by little, both the world and the story open up to you. Although OPUS seems free, you have to pay $ 2.29 to unlock the full game.

4. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice
We don’t have an ‘objection !!’ that Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice can now also be played on iOS. In the game with Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice you have to solve tricky cases again, by looking for hints and making the right choices in court. The game contains good characters, an interesting story and a lot of interesting things.
It is useful for the story if you have played the previous games in this series, but it is not a requirement. To play the whole story you lost 16.99 euros. If you’re not sure whether you’re going to play the full game, you can also choose to purchase individual episodes.

5. Drag’n’Boom
Since your wallet also needs some rest, we also have a nice free game for you. In Drag’n’Boom you control a small dragon that has a lot of power. By dragging the finger on the left side of the screen, you let the dragon fly through the air. If you drag on the right side of the screen, you let the beast shoot fireballs. With these actions you have to speed through the levels and collect as much gold as possible. Unfortunately there is no great variation in enemies or attacks, but this game still plays wonderfully. Nice for in between.
