Amazon has settled in the Netherlands, which means that more people will probably become Amazon subscribers. By this we mean Amazon Prime, with which you can get various benefits from the sales platform. Priority delivery
There are many delivery benefits for it Prime subscribers. For example, you can have more than a million products delivered “free” at home in both the Netherlands and Belgium. If you do not have Prime, you pay shipping costs for orders under 29 euros. That is, you do not have to pay any additional shipping costs in addition to your monthly Prime subscription costs. Please note, the money does not apply to all products that you find on Amazon.nl, so always check this carefully when you continue in the ordering process. There’s also a delivery benefit for Prime users, which is same-day delivery at no extra cost. This only applies to a select number of addresses in the Netherlands and Belgium and only to orders over 20 euros. Also handy: you get access to Lightning Deals on Amazon half an hour earlier.
Prime Video
Prime Video is actually simply Netflix’s Amazon. The streaming service offers a huge library of well-known series and films, as well as so-called Amazon Prime Originals. Twitch Prime
If you are into gaming a lot, you probably know Twitch. Twitch has been called a game streaming service, but it is primarily a platform where gamers and celebrities themselves do some kind of live broadcast of what they play. As a viewer, you can see what is happening on the screen (in the game), as well as see the player. It includes a chat to talk to both that person and other viewers. Twitch has been from Amazon for a while, which is why Amazon Prime members give free games through Twitch and channel subscriptions every month to give extra support to certain streamers. There are additional emotes, colors and badges available for people using Amazon Prime.
Prime Photos
A lesser known benefit of Amazon membership is Prime Photos. Here you can save photos for free, just like in Google Drive or Dropbox. The space you have is unlimited, so you can put thousands of photos on it if you want.
An Amazon Prime subscription costs 2.99 euros per month and you can try it for free for the first 30 days. The rate will probably move up a little later to 5.99 euros per month, which it also costs in Germany, but currently it is 2.99 euros. At the moment you can only pay with credit card, but iDeal and Paypal are added. Good to know: if you already had a Prime subscription for Amazon.de, you don’t have that on Amazon.nl. For this you have to register specially on the Dutch Amazon . Your previous membership will then be canceled and you will receive a refund that must be in your account within 7 days.
