With the Duster, Dacia has a smart offer in the segment of compact SUVs, a model that now spreads its sober wings in a facelifted form to commercial vehicle land. The English branch of Dacia introduces the Dacia Duster Commercial.
In 2018 we were already able to show you the bare-bones Fiskal version of the second generation Dacia Duster, a commercial vehicle version of the Romanian SUV devised by the Austrian Dacia importer. The Duster Fiskal is getting a new delivery brother in the United Kingdom: the Duster Commercial.
The Dacia Duster Commercial is an order version of the Duster, a car that logically has to do without a back seat. However, you get a luggage space with a capacity of no less than 1,623 kilos in return. The version based on the facelifted Duster just rolls from the Dacia factory and is therefore not a ‘afterthought’ like the already mentioned Fiskal. The Duster Commercial will have a completely flat wooden loading floor covered by a wear-resistant material. The cargo area is separated from the driver and co-driver by a fence. In contrast to the Duster Fiskal, the Duster Commercial does have glass rear side windows, although they are not completely transparent from the outside in due to the placement of a dark foil. The maximum payload is 503 kilos and the Duster Commercial can carry objects with a length of up to 1.79 meters.
In the United Kingdom, Dacia supplies the Duster Commercial with 90 hp, 130 hp and 150 hp TCe petrol engines. Diesel is also possible with the 115 hp Blue dCi, the only machine that is also available in combination with four-wheel drive in the Duster Commercial. The starting price of the Duster Commercial is converted around €19,000, although you do not have to expect the car in the Netherlands.
