We see the SL from the side, both the nose and the butt. It is clear that the SL can immediately be recognized as a sporty top model from Mercedes, because the similarities with the AMG GT are evident. Not entirely surprising, when you consider that the new SL takes over from the AMG GT Roadster. At the same time, we already know that the SL will have a 2 + 2 configuration, logically the SL must also fill the gap that the disappeared S-class Cabriolet left behind.
