Opel recently announced the starting price of the new Insignia. Techzle can now report all prices of both the Insignia Grand Sport and the Insignia Sports Tourer.
In the last month of 2019, Opel presented the facelifted Insignia. The updated version is distinguished, among other things, with its new headlights, modified grille and renewed front bumper of the outgoing copy, and there are also some changes on the engine list. Almost all engines are exchanged for new machines from General Motors. For example, the 140 hp 1.5 Turbo has been replaced by a 140 hp 1.4 Turbo and the 165 hp 1.5 Turbo has had to leave the field. Instead, the new Insignia gets a 200 hp 2.0 Turbo on its order list, a variant that is linked to a nine-speed automatic. Again there is a four-wheel drive GSi version, which now gets a 230 hp version of the 2.0 under the hood. A diesel GSi, which was 210 hp strong, will not return. The old petrol GSI, which was only available for a short time, was more powerful with an output of 260 hp, but this power source did not survive the transition to the WLTP cycle and previously disappeared from the range.
Opel previously released the starting price of the new Insignia. The Insignia Grand Sport, the hatchback, with a 145-horsepower 1.4 Turbo coupled to a manual six-speed gearbox costs Business as € 36,699. Prefer the Edition or Ultimate? Then count on amounts of € 37,499 and € 41,249. This 1.4 is also available with a stepless automatic transmission and costs as Business in that case € 39,199. For the Edition and Ultimate, Opel wants to see at least € 39,999 and € 43,749 transferred to its account. The 200 hp 2.0 changes ownership as Business Elegance from € 44,199 and should yield € 50,449 as a sporty dressed GS Line. The 230 hp version of that 2.0, also linked to the nine-speed automatic transmission, is only available as a four-wheel drive GSI and costs € 61,899. For the prices of station version Sports Tourer you have to count on an additional cost of € 1,500.

Diesel
Prefer a diesel engine in your new Insignia? Of course, this is also possible, although the 110 and 136 hp 1.6 CDTI and the 170 hp and 210 hp 2.0 diesels do not return. However, the Insignia is available with a 122 hp 1.5 CDTI that is always linked to a six-speed manual gearbox. Higher on the list is a 174 hp 2.0 CDTI that is available with a manual six-speed gearbox and an eight-speed automatic. The same 2.0 is also available in combination with four-wheel drive and in that case is also linked to the eight-speed automatic.
The 122 hp 1.5 CDTI changes as a Business from € 38,799 and costs as Edition and as Ultimate € 39,599 and € 43,349 respectively. The manual versions of the 174 hp 2.0 CDTI cost as Business, Ultimate and GS Line successively € 42,299, € 46,849 and € 48,549 while the automatic version is only available as Ultimate € 49,899 and as GS51 € 51,599.
