Sometimes something just needs some time to become fun (again). Although all kinds of things from the 80s are completely hip again, Porsche is already switching to the 90s with some well-known and very striking colors.
The men and women of Porsche are not afraid to sit down with a customer and go through some personal wishes for a car. For example, as with many other luxury and sporty brands, there is an enormous range of paint colors to choose from and you can also have your own colors composed. This ‘Paint To Sample’ piece of personalization is now being expanded by Porsche.
With the 911 and 718 you can choose from more than a hundred paint colors, with the Panamera 65 and with the Macan and Cayenne more than fifty. Maritim blue, stern rubin and mint green are now also being added. Three colors that Porsche has offered in the past on the 911, 964 and 968. The three colors (whether or not together) were often found on sportswear from the 1990s, for example, in addition to cars. are that the colors fell out of favor, but now they are back.
You have to pay something to have your new Porsche sprayed in one of these or other special colors. With the 911 and 718 it costs a minimum of €9,299 and even €10,430 if it is a GT, Turbo or Turbo S. It becomes a whole lot more expensive if you really want a very specific color that is not in the fan and that Porsche has to mix especially for you. Then you have lost around €20,000.
