Small changes for SUV, prices remain almost the same
Mazda CX-5
Mazda makes several minor changes to the CX-5. The standard equipment has been expanded, there is a new Style Selected version and the CO2 emissions have been reduced.
In the first week of April Mazda puts the CX-5 model year 2020 in the showrooms. One of the improvements concerns the standard equipment, which has been extended with LED interior lighting, 19-inch alloy wheels and an 8-inch information screen. A renewed car key and improved interior insulation are also available for all versions.
Mazda has been able to reduce the CO2 emissions of the Skyactiv-G 165 petrol engine through the addition of cylinder shutdown. At low loads, two of the four cylinders are switched off, which means the engine uses less fuel and emits up to 12 percent less CO2. The other engines that Mazda supplies in the CX-5, the 194 hp strong petrol engine and the diesels with 150 and 184 hp, remain unchanged.
Mazda also presents a new version, Style Selected. Based on the CX-5 Comfort, the main extras include a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, traffic sign recognition, leather upholstery, a Bose audio system and a navigation system. The Style Selected is available from 39,390 euros. The starting price of the CX-5 model year 2020 is 36,390 euros.
