Motorola has released a new phone from the low price segment. The Moto G22 comes with Android 12 and has a camera setup with four lenses, including a 50 MP main camera. It is for sale from 179.99 euros.

in January Motorola already presented a budget device and a midrange device: the Moto G41 and Moto G71. Still, Motorola isn’t done introducing new members of the Moto G family yet. The Moto G21 is the cheapest phone with Android 12 that the brand has already launched.
The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. There is a notch in the center of the screen. In addition, the Moto G22 has a plastic housing with a water-repellent coating. There is also a USB-C port, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
5,000 mAh battery and 50 MP camera
The chipset that Motorola uses is a MediaTek Helio G39, or a processor with a 2.3 GHz clock speed. Furthermore, there is a working memory of 4 GB along with 64 GB storage. The battery is a relatively large 5,000 mAh unit that you can charge with a 10W charger.

Looking at the camera we find a 50 MP main sensor. It is assisted by an 8 MP wide-angle camera, a 2 MP depth camera and a 2 MP macro sensor. On the front of the phone is a 16 MP selfie camera.

The Motorola Moto G22 is available in three different colors: Cosmic Black, Pearl White and Iceberg Blue. You can only find the last two colors if you order the G21 via the Motorola webshop. The phone is for sale for 179.99 euros and will be in stores from March 21. Customers receive a 128GB memory card as a gift with purchase.
