For its next generation of buildable phones, Motorola uses two larger screens. The Motorola Razr 3 has a 6.7 inch main screen with a high refresh rate and the QuickView screen is also given a larger size.

It has taken more than two years, but Motorola seems to be coming up with a successor to its foldable Razr 5G this year. The Razr is a foldable with a clamshell model and in other words it reflects the design of an old flip phone. And it is precisely that vital part – the two screens – that the manufacturer wants to improve with the Razr 3, because Motorola opts for larger panels.
The new information comes from Ross Young on TwitterHe is a rumor spreader who works as the chief executive of DSCC, a consulting group for manufacturers and buyers of screen technology. Young states that Motorola uses a larger 6.7-inch main screen, compared to the Razr 5G’s 6.2-inch OLED panel. The 60Hz refresh rate will be swapped for 120Hz, so animations should look smoother on the new screen.
Furthermore, it is also the so-called QuickView display larger, that is the screen on the back where notifications appear when the phone is folded. Motorola also lets you use certain apps on that screen. Razr 3’s QuickView panel measures 3.0 inches, while its predecessor measured 2.7 inches. It is not known whether this screen will have a higher refresh rate than 60 Hz, but Motorola may want to keep the refresh rate low with this panel, which is better for the battery life.
