Samsung Galaxy S22 and other phones now receive One UI 4.1.1

Samsung is rolling out its One UI 4.1.1 update with Android 12L to more devices. This time it is the Galaxy S22 series’ turn, but also tablets, midrange and budget devices receive the update. We give an overview.

With Android 12L, Google has proposed a series of improvements specifically tailored to tablets and foldable phones. Yet there are also novelties that are also interesting for ordinary smartphones, such as a gesture to smoothly use the split-screen display of apps and these other features.

The Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra now receive Android 12L with the One UI 4.1.1 update. The update is now also available for the Galaxy Tab S7 series, know that Android Police. In addition, Samsung also updates the Galaxy A3 and A12, but with One UI 4.1. That is the software version proposed with the arrival of the Galaxy S22 series.

One UI 4.1.1 was first shown last month at the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. After the new foldable phones, the Galaxy Tab S8 series was the first to get the update, followed by the previous generations of Samsung’s foldable phones.

OneUI 5

Samsung is also working on the Android 13 update for its Galaxy devices at the same time. Last month we already got to see the first screenshots of One UI 5.
