Ford Mustang will be €6,500 more expensive

Ford implements a price increase on the Mustang. Across the board, the Ford Mustang is about €6,500 more expensive. As before, the Mustang is only available with a thick eight-cylinder, but there are different versions.

Ford recently pulled the curtain on the new Mustang, but in the Netherlands the new one is pony car not yet available. You can still go for its predecessor. In the Netherlands, it is always equipped with a 5.0 V8, as Ford cut the four-cylinder Ecoboost machine from the Dutch delivery range at the beginning of 2021. The Mustang may therefore continue in its current form for a while, but will be €6,500 more expensive.

The price increase provides the Ford Mustang in the Netherlands with a new starting price of €115,175. For that amount you get the Mustang Fastback with 449 hp 5.0 V8 and a ten-speed automatic. That closed ‘Stang is also available with a six-speed manual transmission and costs €117,470 in that case.

If you would like to hear the gurgling V8 even better, you can of course go for the Mustang Convertible with 449 hp powerful eight-cylinder. It is also available with an automatic transmission and with a manual gearbox and costs €122,625 and €124,515 in succession.

At the Dutch Mustang top is the Ford Mustang Mach-1. The top version, always as a closed Fastback, has a 5.0 V8 boosted to 460 hp and, just like its less fortunate brothers, it is available with an automatic transmission and a manual gearbox. The version with automatic costs €130,155. You will lose €132,010 for the Mach-1 with manual gearbox.

The new Ford Mustang will also come to the Netherlands. It will also get a V8 again, although it is not yet known when the new ‘Stang Dutch asphalt under its wheels.
