AutoWeek could recently tell you that the Suzuki Swace is going from 122 hp to 140 hp. We could also tell you the prices. Today Suzuki itself has shed a light on the renewed Swace and so we can now show it to you.
Unlike the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports on which the Suzuki Swace is based, Suzuki’s station wagon is available with only one powertrain. Until now, that was the well-known 122 hp hybrid powertrain with a 1.8 that you know from Toyota. At Toyota, that powertrain was thoroughly renewed. There was a different battery and a more powerful electric motor, resulting in an increase in power from 122 hp to 140 hp. AutoWeek was recently able to tell you that the Suzuki Swace will also get that revised hybrid powertrain and what the modified hybrid station wagon should cost. Now Suzuki itself has explained the ins and outs of the renewed Swace. What seems? We were right.
Nevertheless, we once again pay attention to the renewed Suzuki Swace. The appearance has also been refreshed and now we can show you exactly what it looks like. The Swace has LED taillights from the Style and the rear bumper now has chrome-colored trim. The equipment has also been improved. The €35,795 Suzuki Swace Select now has a new 8-inch infotainment screen and behind the wheel is a 7-inch digital instrument panel. The number of USB-C charging points has been expanded to four. Blind Spot Monitor, standard on the Style, has been extended with Safe Exit Assis. The slightly more complete Style version costs €37,795.
