A Lamborghini Huracán with all terrain tires, mud flaps and 4WD? It’s coming!

Because Porsche comes with a new 911 Safari, Lamborghini also wants a piece of the ‘jacked up supercar’ pie. In these photos the production version of the Huracán Sterrato is driving: an off-road Lamborghini with four-wheel drive, a larger ground clearance and a set of roof rails. In 2019 we already saw the car in study model form.

Take a good look at the Lamborghini Huracán in these photos. Do you notice something? That it stands higher on its wheels, for example, and that it is equipped with roof rails and skid plates under the nose and stern. This is the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, a rugged off-road version of the Huracán, with 47mm more ground clearance and all-terrain tires. ‘Sterrato’ means ‘dirt road’ in Italian.

Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato with a touch of Urus DNA

The name debuted in 2019 on the concept car you see above. The production version will be a kind of combination between the Huracán and Lamborghini’s SUV, the Urus. It has four-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering and higher sidewall tires. Behind the seats is an atmospheric V10, as usual, with the same 640 hp as the Huracán Evo. The concept car had a 30mm wider track, but the production Sterrato doesn’t seem to have that.
