Acer has unveiled a new lineup of Chromebooks that includes models in different price ranges and with different designs. The most high-quality is the Acer Chromebook Spin 514: a convertible with powerful Intel Core i7 processors and a touchscreen.

Acer has presented four new Chromebooks and with this the brand wants to appeal to a broad target group. From the student looking for an affordable laptop to the professional who needs more power. We discuss the new models.
First of all, there is the Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 514. That is a convertible model with an aluminum housing. It has a 14-inch Full HD IPS LCD touchscreen and is quiet thanks to a fanless design. Still, it packs a lot of punch with its 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processor. The Spin 514 can also count on 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. The battery of this Chromebook lasts up to 10 hours and it has two stereo speakers optimized by DTS Audio.
Remarkably, Acer has also built in a decent webcam that can record in Full HD. The device is equipped with two USB-C ports and the touchpad is made of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Acer Chromebook 515
The Acer Chromebook 515 also has high-end specs, but it comes with a classic laptop design. The device is also made of aluminum, but it has a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS display that is also available as a touchscreen. It has a solid 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage via PCIe NVMe storage.
The Chromebook 515 has the same stereo speakers as the Chromebook Spin 514 and also comes with two USB-C ports. In addition, it has an HDMI connection and a microSD slot. According to Acer, this laptop should also be interesting for the business market with the double microphone that clearly registers your sound during video meetings and the webcam slot that protects your privacy.
Chromebook 514 and Spider 314
Then there are two more accessible models. The Chromebook 514 from Acer is made of plastic, but it has an aluminum lid. The device has a 14-inch Full HD screen that you can also get as a touchscreen. Remarkable is the good battery life of 15 hours and that is due to the energy-efficient and light MediaTek Kompanio 828 processor. It has 128 GB eMMC storage on board.
Chromebook 514
Finally, there is the Acer Chromebook Spin 314, which is again a convertible model with a 14-inch Full HD touchscreen. It is powered by a Celeron processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB eMMC storage. The battery of this device lasts for 10 hours. It has a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI connection and a microSD slot.
