The Smart Folio Case for iPad has been around for several generations, but Apple has adapted the Smart Folio case especially for the new iPad Air with M2 chip and iPad Pro with M4 chip. By adding extra magnets you can place the smart cover in even more viewing angles.
The iPad Smart Folio is designed so that you can fold the top flap and place it in different positions. With the previous generation, the viewing angles were fixed, but this is no longer the case. This makes the iPad Smart Folio even smarter. We explain how it works.
iPad Smart Folio
The Smart Folio for iPad is thin and light, but still protects the device from front to back. You attach the case magnetically to the iPad and it is firmly attached. When you open or close it, your iPad’s sleep mode automatically turns on or off.

Different viewing angles
The top flap can be folded into different positions so that you can place the iPad on the table. The new Smart Folio for iPad can be used in even more different viewing angles thanks to the addition of extra magnets. Below you can see the new options depicted.

Unfold the Folio and place it in a triangle against the back of the iPad. You can place the flap from the middle to the bottom and it is held in position with the help of sturdy magnets.
Thanks to the new viewing angles, you can read, watch movies, type, or have a FaceTime call at your leisure. In this video by Marques Brownlee you can admire the magnets in the folio.
