0-100 km/h in 1.9 seconds

Aion is a brand of the Chinese GAC that claims to have reinvented itself. Aion is ushering in its next phase with a brand new electric supercar: the Hyper SSR.
GAC Group is a gigantic Chinese state-owned company that owns several car brands: Trumpchi, Aion and Hycan. In addition, GAC Group is a joint venture partner for Honda, Mitsubishi and Toyota, among others. The aforementioned Aion is the youngest member of the company. It started its existence in 2018 as a label within GAC and became an actual brand in 2020. It is ready to once again bring itself to the attention of the Chinese consumer and will be given its own logo that it sticks directly on a new electric supercar.
Until now, Aion models simply wore the GAC decal on their muzzles, but that is no longer the case. Aions will have their own logo that consists of a somewhat elusive combination of a rhombus and a triangle. Aion immediately introduces a new supercar that displays the new logo: the Hyper SSR Coupé. The Aion Hyper SSR is a 4.54 meter long supercar with electrically opening butterfly doors and a front in which we can – without being faint about the mainly formerly common Chinese copying behavior – recognize the influences of the Ferrari 458 Italia.
The Hyper SSR gets a fierce electric powertrain that does not consist of no less than four electric motors. Together they are good for 1,125 hp and with that the low flyer zooms to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds, claims Aion. That acceleration time applies to the fastest variant, because there will also be a basic version that takes 2.3 counts over the same sprint. Save it…
