Apple AirPods Pro 2: The Latest Pro Earbuds!
It has been three years since the first generation of the Pro earbuds appeared. Now Apple has officially announced the AirPods Pro 2 during the September event.

The AirPods Pro 2 are the successor to the popular AirPods Pro. The second generation of the AirPods Pro have received some cool innovations, but they do have the old look. We list the most important functions of the AirPods 2 for you.
New chip, old look AirPods Pro 2
The new AirPods Pro have received a new H2 chip. This chip should provide, among other things, better sound. It’s a shame, but the AirPods Pro 2 still have the look of the previous version.
AirPods Pro 2 have volume control
A striking new feature is the swipe controls in the stems of the AirPods Pro 2. From now on you can adjust the volume of your music by swiping your fingers over the stem. This might be one of the reasons why Apple has again opted for a design with stems.
Battery life AirPods Pro 2
With a battery charge you can enjoy music for six hours. This is 33 percent more than with the AirPods Pro 1. With the box you can listen to music for 30 hours (this is 6 hours more than the previous version).
New AirPods Pro 2 case
The charging case also has a few new features. The box now even has speakers. You still have to charge the charging case for your AirPods Pro 2 with a lightning cable, but you can also use the Apple Watch charger, MagSafe or a Qi charger.
Active Noise Canceling
The most important feature of the first generation AirPods Pro, of course, returns with the AirPods Pro 2. The earbuds have active noise cancellation (active noise canceling) that filters out ambient noise, so that you can completely lose yourself in the music. According to Apple, this noise reduction has become twice as good.
Of course, the transparency mode makes its appearance again. When you turn this on, you can continue to listen to music, but you can also hear the background noises. This is, for example, a lot safer when you use the AirPods Pro 2 in traffic. The AirPods Pro now has an adaptive transparency mode. This function can indent the ambient noise.
The silicone ear tips are also back and an extra small ear tip has even been added. As a result, these earplugs fit better in your ears than, for example, the normal AirPods. This is especially useful during exercise. When purchasing, you will receive several sets of soft, flexible ear tips in different sizes.
AirPods Pro 2 prices
The AirPods Pro 2 cost $249 and will be available to order from September 9. You will receive them on September 23. Unfortunately, European prices are not yet known.
