AirPods Pro 3 are coming (and these will be the improvements)
In September Apple comes again with a keynote and if we are allowed to believe the rumors, Apple will present the AirPods Pro 3. But what will the new functions be? And what will change? According to rumors, these are the improvements that you can expect at the AirPods Pro 3.
New Health Fintie: heart rate monitor
According to usually reliable Apple connoisseur Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to add new health functions. The PowerBeats Pro 2 ears have already been given a heart rate sensor. And that is why it seems almost certain that Apple also brings this function to the AirPods Pro 3. You no longer need your Apple Watch to measure your heart rate.
There are also rumors that one of the changes will be a new temperature sensor in the AirPods Pro 3. The Apple Watch Series 8 or newer already have a temperature sensor. But that in the AirPods Pro 3 would then give a more reliable result.
New functions: automatic translation
Of course there are several new functions to the AirPods Pro 3. One of the new functions will be an automatic translation function according to rumors. With this new position for the AirPods you can now have a conversation with someone who does not speak your language. The AirPods use the translation app for this. That app already has this kind of functionality, but then you use the iPhone to have a conversation.
With the new function on the AirPods you no longer have to grab the iPhone. The ears pick up the spoken text automatically, send them to the translation app on your iPhone and then you will automatically hear the translation on your AirPods.
This function is probably part of iOS 19. And we hope that not only the AirPods Pro 3 will get this new function.
Improvements in the design
According to several rumors, some changes in the design at the AirPods Pro 3 will also be implemented. For example, it is expected that the stalks at the earbuds will become a bit shorter (there are even reports that they disappear completely).
In addition, the storage box will also undergo a number of changes and take over some characteristics of the AirPods 4 box. In this way, the front light is tucked away in the housing and the synchronization button will now be touch sensitive.
Improved noise reduction
The noise reduction (noise canceling) also receives an update. Various messages say that Apple is already testing an improved audio chip. We still have to wait and see what changes this chip entails for the AirPods Pro 3.
