Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio extra potent

We have to disappoint those who had hoped for a Giulia that is even more intense than the now sold-out 540 hp powerful Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and GTAm. However, the Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario, just like the Stelvio variant of the same name, is more powerful than the regular Quadrifoglios. The 2.9 biturbo V6 stamps out 510 hp and 600 Nm in the existing Qs, but is good for 520 hp in the special anniversary edition. Ten horsepower extra.

What do the special editions have to offer, apart from an extra 10 hp? The two will receive a mechanical limited slip differential with almost the same adjustment as that of the Giulia GTAs as standard. Alfa Romeo gives the two muscular newcomers a special Akrapovich exhaust system and puts the Giulia on 19-inch and the Stelvio on 21-inch alloy, behind which gold calipers are hidden. Of course, a set of special badges cannot be missed. The grille and side mirror caps are made of carbon fiber and Alfa Romeo supplies the trio in the colors Rossa Etna, Verde Montreal and Nero Vulcano. In the interior we see furniture that is finished with black leather and black Alcantara and gold-colored stitching. Here you will also find extra carbon fiber and a series of references to the name of the special editions.

Alfa Romeo RL (1923).

With the Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario special editions, Alfa Romeo celebrates the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo’s Quadrifoglio adventure on April 15. On April 15, 1923, Alfa Romeo sent a racing version of the RL with the famous green four-leaf clover onto the track. The Giulia Sprint GT Veloce was Alfa Romeo’s first road car to feature the Quadrifoglio.

In large numbers, the special pair will not be in the showrooms. The Italians manufacture 100 copies of each. There is currently no information regarding the Dutch market.
