Alfa Romeo Tonale

The Tonale, Alfa Romeo’s first electrified car, debuted as a very complete Edizione Speciale. Now Alfa Romeo is expanding the line up with a well-arranged range consisting of Super, Sprint, Ti and Veloce.

The Tonale 1.5T Hybrid is available in a 130 hp and 160 hp variant, both of which are linked to a 7-speed TCT automatic transmission and a P2 electric motor of 48 volts, 15 kW and 55 Nm. The car starts electrically and it is possible to drive fully electrically over a short distance, up to about 3 kilometers, at a low speed such as in a traffic jam. Incidentally, the 160 hp hybrid is also equipped with a turbocharger with variable geometry. A 275 hp Plug-in Hybrid variant will follow later this year.

Alfa Romeo supplies the Tonale as standard with a new infotainment system with Over-the-Air updates. The system includes a 12.3-inch digital display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen and an advanced multitasking interface, allowing you to see everything at a glance. With a combined screen size of 22.5 inches, the two Full TFT screens are leading in this class.

Furthermore, the Tonale is standard equipped with 18-inch light-alloy wheels with anodized brake calipers behind them, LED daytime running lights and flashing light and full LED taillights and reflectors. Things like wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Alfa Connect services, cruise control incl. speed limiter, light & rain sensor and automated high beam are also standard equipment.

As mentioned, the Alfa Romeo Tonale also belongs to the top when it comes to safety. That is why, among other things, Forward Collision Warning, Auto Emergency City Brake, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed ​​Assist, Lane Support System, Driver Awareness Detection and Tire Pressure Gauge are all fitted as standard.

The new Alfa Romeo Tonale will be available at the Dutch Alfa Romeo dealer from mid-June.
