Apple has released an update for Apple cards! The navigation service has been expanded with a new function. We tell where you can find the feature.
Update for Apple Cards
There is an update available for Apple cards! In the new version of the navigation service, Apple added the circuit of Formula 1 to Monaco. The Grand Prix of Monaco will take place there on Sunday 25 May. In preparation for that Grand Prix you can already view the circuit in Apple cards. Apple has added the new function to the navigation service this week, making the feature available to everyone.
Apple uses the Detailed City Experience (DCE) in the display of the Monaco Grand Prix. This feature was introduced in 2021 and shows 3D models of a city or place. This makes you see iconic and characteristics of buildings with many more details. In this way, cities are mapped much more detailed. That now also applies to the circuit in Monaco. Here you will find the latest function of the update for Apple cards!

This is how you will find the Monaco circuit
Do you follow Formula 1 every weekend? In that case, Apple has a great update. The Monaco race will only take place on 25 May, but you can already view the circuit in the Apple card app. This way you know exactly which buildings the drivers are driving and which route they have to travel through Monte Carlo. Curious how you can find the Monaco circuit in the app? You do that as follows:
- Open Apple cards on your iPhone;
- Tap ‘Search in cards’;
- Search for ‘Monaco’ and choose ‘Circuit de Monaco’;
- Finally, choose ‘3D’ and view the Monaco circuit.
Have you chosen the 3D view? Then you can see in detail which buildings are around the circuit in Monaco. This way you see iconic buildings such as the opera building and the Casino of Monte Carlo. That is not all, because the Apple will reflect the location of the stands at the Grand Prix of Monaco after the update. Of course you also see the finish line in Apple cards, so that you know exactly where the Grand Prix starts and ends.
