Of course, Apple should not be missing from the list, because this manufacturer also pays a lot of attention to smart homes. You use the Home app for this, which is available on all devices on the Apple platform, such as iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

In the main screen you see the different rooms of the home with the devices that are located in the room. A separate section is dedicated to camera images, the live feed of which you can see on the dashboard. All activities that take place in and around the house are also recorded in a logbook.

If you have a recent Apple TV or HomePod, you can set it up as a central hub and automate things within the home. You add new accessories by scanning the home network for the presence of the devices. You can also scan a QR code from the relevant device and add it. You can also add accessories manually.

You can create scenes to make the components work together. Here you determine how the house responds based on activities. Apple Home takes into account the possibilities per device you use. For example, if you include a speaker in the scene, the question will automatically appear what you want to do with the audio (for example play or pause).
