Apple is announcing four new products this month. Curious which devices will be released in October? This is them!
Apple event in October
A month ago, Apple announced a series of new products. The iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4 were released at the beginning of September. Apple will probably organize another event this month, presenting more products. These devices will be released in October 2024!
1. MacBook Pro M4
It is almost certain that Apple will announce the MacBook Pro 2024 this month. The device runs on the new M4 chip, which we previously saw in the iPad Pro 2024. Apple also provides all versions of the MacBook Pro with 16 GB of RAM and an extra Thunderbolt port. The first models of Apple’s new product have already surfaced in Russia. 2. Mac mini M4
In addition to the MacBook Pro with M4 chip, Apple is releasing another product with the same processor. The Mac mini is also making the transition to M4, but that’s not all. The new generation of the Mac mini will have a new design, which is much thinner and resembles the Apple TV. It is the first time in 14 years that Apple has changed the design of the Mac mini. Furthermore, the device will have at least 16 GB of RAM and you can update to the M4 Pro chip.
3. iMac M4
The iMac will receive a smaller update in 2024, but will also switch to the M4 chip. Just like the Mac mini and the MacBook Pro, Apple provides the product with at least 16 GB of RAM. Furthermore, few changes are expected with the iMac 2024. There is a good chance that we will see modified versions of the Magic Keyboard, the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad with a USB-C connection with the new iMac.
4. iPad mini 7
Apple is updating the iPad mini for the first time in three years. It mainly concerns changes under the hood. The small tablet runs on the new A18 chip, which gives the iPad mini 7 support for Apple Intelligence. In addition, Apple provides the product with a new screen, which jelly scrolling must occur. Event at the end of October
Apple is expected to hold a special event to showcase the new Macs and the iPad mini. The regular iPad is not yet available, and there is little chance that Apple will announce a new generation of the tablet this year. This is striking, because the last version of the iPad was released in 2022. The next generation of the iPad will not be released until 2025, while the iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini will receive an update this year.
The event is expected to take place at the end of October, probably on October 28 or 29. The exact time of the event is still unclear, last year the presentation only started at 1:00 am Dutch time. It is quite possible that Apple will now opt for an earlier start time, for example the iPhone 16 event started at 7 p.m. We’ll probably know more by the end of this week, as Apple will officially announce the event soon.
