Apple is coming with a special Apple Watch band this week
According to a tweet on X (former Twitter) by Mark Gurman Apple is coming this week with new products. Gurman did not share what Apple will come up with, but this will probably be the new Black Unity Apple Watch band.
Apple releases this band around this period every year. These bands are usually announced around mid -January and then a week later he appears in the store. Since Apple has not yet released Black Unity band this year, this will probably happen this week.
In fact: in the release candidate for the Apple TV, ‘Unity25’ instructions have been found. But in the recently published RC of iOS 18.3 there is no trace. If Apple is going to do something with it, this will be soon.
Apple has been releasing Black Unity bands since 2021. And a new version of the band appears every year. The straps often have a mix of the colors red, green and black. Often there is a new dial for Apple Watch owners.
Apple Watch bands change
If you have a new band you naturally want to use it. You then have to change the strap. Fortunately, changing an Apple Watch band is not difficult. The straps use a simple click system. To change a strap you take the next steps.
- Take your Apple Watch off and turn it around;
- Press one of the unlock buttons and holds the button pressed;
- Slide the strap on the same side from the slit of the Apple Watch;
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other side.
You can then slide the new strap in the slit of the Apple Watch. The strap then clicks firmly in place.
