Apple has made no fewer than nine products cheaper. Curious about which Apple devices have had their prices reduced? This is them!
Apple makes products cheaper
The new iPad Pro 2025 and MacBook Pro 2025 were announced on Wednesday, October 15! Apple released a series of new products that day, but that might not even be the most important announcement. The company lowered the prices of many devices on the same day. It concerns the prices of new iPads and MacBooks, you can now get all these products much cheaper from Apple.
You only get the latest versions of the iPad and MacBook from Apple itself. The company traditionally withdraws previous generations from sale as soon as a new version is announced. Still, it is good news that Apple has made all products cheaper, because other providers are likely to lower the prices of both new and older devices as a result. Wondering how much you still pay? These are the adjusted prices:
| Product | Old price | New price | Price difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| iPad 2025 | 409 euros | 389 euros | 20 euros |
| iPad mini 2024 | 609 euros | 559 euros | 50 euros |
| iPad Air 2025 | 719 euros | 669 euros | 50 euros |
| iPad Pro 2025 | 1219 euros | 1119 euros | 100 euros |
| MacBook Air 2025 (13 inches) | 1199 euros | 1099 euros | 100 euros |
| MacBook Air 2025 (15 inches) | 1499 euros | 1399 euros | 100 euros |
| MacBook Pro M5 (14 inches) | 1929 euros | 1829 euros | 100 euros |
| MacBook Pro M4 Pro (14 inches) | 2449 euros | 2349 euros | 100 euros |
| MacBook Pro M4 Pro (16 inches) | 2949 euros | 2849 euros | 100 euros |

Significant price reductions
Apple has therefore implemented significant price reductions on no fewer than nine products. All devices have become cheaper by at least twenty euros and at most by one hundred euros. It was already clear with the release of the iPad Pro 2025 and the MacBook Pro 2025 that Apple had made the new products cheaper. It now appears that the prices of all iPads and MacBooks have become much lower, without Apple having made an announcement.
It is not known why Apple has lowered the prices of iPads and MacBooks. The expectation was that the opposite would happen, due to the higher production costs and import tariffs that the company has to deal with. These concerns have proven to be unfounded, because Apple has made the majority of its devices cheaper. No changes have been made to the prices of the iPhones, Apple Watches and AirPods.
