These are all Apple products coming in 2026 and 2027
There have been all kinds of rumors lately about products that Apple is likely to release in 2026 and 2027. We’ve arranged these rumors by likely release date, even though that isn’t known for all products. Please note that these are only the rumors from the past few days. So it is not a complete overview of all functions for every device.
Early 2026

- iPhone 17e (V159) – the iPhone 17e gets the C1X modem instead of the C1, and it also gets support for MagSafe (which was missing on the iPhone 16e). He may not get an N1 chip.
- Air Tag 2 (B589) – likely to be released in early 2026. We expect better connectivity, more detailed battery information and improved tracking.
- Home hub (J490 and J491) – likely to be released in Spring 2026, around the time iOS 26.4 is released. According to the latest rumors, the Home hub will have a 1080p video camera, Face ID for authentication and to identify different people, and support for Apple Intelligence. There will be two models: one to hang on the wall and one that you place down like a HomePod.
- HomePod mini 2 (B525) – the new HomePod mini is already ready, so it will arrive in the spring of 2026 or maybe even earlier. The N1 chip is probably not in it.
- AppleTV (J355) – the new Apple TV is apparently also ready, so we expect it early in 2026.
- Unknown Home accessory (J229) – We don’t know what this is. It could be a camera, or a standalone speaker that you can add to the Home hub that you have to hang on the wall. But it could also be something completely different.
- iPad 12 (J581 and J582) – according to the latest rumors, the iPad 12 will have the A19 chip, which is also in the iPhone 17. That’s an unusual choice, because iPads usually get older, cheaper chips. This probably does not contain an N1 chip either. We expect the iPad 12 early in 2026.
- M4 iPad Air (J707, J708, J737, J738) – 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Ai models with M4 chips are also rumored to arrive early in 2026. Besides the chip update, we don’t expect any major changes.
- Cheap MacBook (J700) – Apple is working on a MacBook with the A18 Pro chip, likely to be released in early 2026. It will be the most affordable MacBook, competing with Chromebooks and cheap Windows laptops.
- M5 MacBook Air (J813 and J815) – The MacBook Air will be updated with the M5 chip, probably also early in 2026. We don’t expect any other major changes.
- M5 Pro/Max MacBook Pro (J714c, J714s, J716c, J716s) – M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro models are also coming early in 2026. In addition, there are rumors of another MacBook Pro later in the year.
September 2026

- Foldable iPhone (V68) – the iPhone Fold opens like a book and is wider than it is tall when unfolded. That probably looks like a small iPad. Opened, the screen is around 7.7 inches, closed it is around 5.3 inches. There is a front camera at the top left and there is no Dynamic Island.
- iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max (V63 and V64) – the TrueDepth camera system for ‌Face ID‌ comes under the screen, making the ‌Dynamic Island on the iPhone 18 Pro disappear. There will be a cutout at the top left for the front camera. At least one camera on the back will have an adjustable aperture that lets you control how much light comes through the lens. The design will be similar to that of the iPhone 17 Pro models. The iPhone 18 Pro models will have a C1X or C2 modem.
- iPad mini 8 (J510 and J511) – the iPad mini 8 may get an OLED screen and the A20 Pro chip (the same chip as the ‌iPhone 18‌ Pro models get). That’s why we expect the iPad mini 8 to be released in the fall, at the same time as the iPhone 18 Pro. There are also rumors that the new mini will have the A19 Pro chip, which is also in the iPhone 17 Pro. In that case, the mini could also come onto the market earlier.
- Apple Watch Series 12 (N237 and N238) – the Apple Watch Series 12 is likely to arrive in September 2026. We don’t expect any major changes yet.
Timing unknown, but probably in 2026

- M5 Max/Ultra Mac Studio (J775c and J775d) – the Mac Studio will get M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips and will probably be released relatively late in 2026.
- iMac Pro (J833c) – Apple is working on a high-end iMac with an M5 Max chip, which we expect sometime in 2026 along with other M5 Max models. According to previous rumors, the iMac will have a 30-inch screen.
- M6 MacBook Pro (J804) – the entry-level ‌MacBook Pro‌ may get an M6 chip by the end of 2026.
- M6 Pro/Max MacBook Pro (K114c, K114s, K116c, K116s) – the M6 Pro and M6 Max ‌MacBook Pro models get a new design with OLED screens. According to the latest rumors, this will happen towards the end of 2026. This means that there may be two updates to the MacBook Pro in 2026. It is also possible that Apple will postpone this update to 2027.
- Apple Watch Ultra 4 (N240) – Apple is working on the fourth generation of the Apple Watch Ultra. This may arrive in September 2026, along with the Series 12, but Apple does not update the Apple Watch Ultra every year.
2027

- iPhone 18 – the ‌iPhone 18‌ will not arrive in the fall of 2026, but in the spring of 2027. Apple may remove haptic feedback and touch controls from the Camera controller.
- iPhone 18e – we also expect this in the spring of 2027, at the same time as the iPhone 18. Not many changes are expected.
- iPhone Air 2 (V62) – we don’t expect an iPhone Air 2 in the fall of 2026 because Apple has postponed the release. The Air 2 may arrive in the spring of 2027. Apple may add a second camera and make the device more affordable.
- iPhone 20 – the 2027 iPhone will have a glass design with rounded corners and no screen edges. There may still be a metal band running over the sides. It will be the first device without cutouts in the screen. We expect this anniversary version in September 2027.
- Table robot (J595) – Apple’s tabletop robot with a thin robot arm and swivel base is expected to be a more powerful version of the Home hub. We expect it sometime in 2027.
- AI smart glasses (N50/N401) – Apple has suspended development of AR/VR headsets to focus on AI smart glasses that will compete with the Meta Ray-Bans. The AI smart glasses are expected in 2027, but it is possible that Apple will unveil them as early as late 2026. N50 was the original code name, but Apple now uses N401.
Apple products in 2026 and 2027
Apple’s plans can always change. Devices can be scrapped, features can be removed, and launches can be postponed. This is especially true for rumors about products coming to market in late 2026 or 2027, as production plans have not yet been finalized.
