1. Eye Tracking is coming to the iPhone

The most important feature that should make the iPhone more accessible with iOS 18 is Eye Tracking. This accessibility feature lets you control iPhone (and iPad) with your eyes. The front camera follows the direction of your eyes and records what you look at. This way you can press buttons, swipe and perform other actions by making movements with your eyes. The function is intended for users with a physical disability, but can of course be used by everyone.

2. No more carsick with iOS 18

In iOS 18, Apple introduces a new feature that should prevent you from getting carsick. If you enable the feature, black dots will appear on the side of the iPhone. 3. Feel the rhythm of the music

Another cool feature of iOS 18: Music Haptics. With this feature in iOS 18, Apple makes it possible to feel the rhythm of the music. The Taptic Engine in the iPhone vibrates along with the music, so that deaf and hearing-impaired people can also experience songs with the phone. Music Haptics will be immediately available on millions of songs in Apple Music at the launch of iOS 18. Other music services will probably follow soon.

4. Vocal Shortcuts puts an end to ‘Hey Siri’

The latest iOS 18 feature Apple announced is Vocal Shortcuts. The feature allows you to perform voice commands without having to say ‘Hey, Siri’.
