Faster in apps thanks to S9 chip with Neural Engine
Obviously you not only want to receive messages faster, you also want to be able to open all apps faster, right? And that is why the Watch Series 9 also contains the new S9 chip. This is based on the A15 Bionic chip that is already familiar from the iPhone 13 and 14. A big step compared to the S8 chip, which was still based on the A13 from the iPhone 11. It is up to 60% faster. than its predecessor.
The new chip also ensures that the Watch uses energy more efficiently. The processor now also has a Neural Engine, so Siri can work on the Watch without internet. This makes it possible for you to request health information from Health via Siri.
