The fun student life is already expensive enough, so why pay unnecessarily too much? With these apps you get a student discount and get the most out of your money.
You get a student discount with these apps
Studying, and everything that comes with it, is a lot of fun. Less fun are all the additional costs. If you regularly have a bit of month left over, it is wise to squeeze as much return as possible from your budget. You can do that, for example, with these student discount apps.
1. Scoupy
Scoupy does not focus specifically on students, but on everyone. However, that doesn’t make the app any less useful. With Scoupy you get discounts on many promotional products. From chewing gum, deodorant to razors: it all comes along.

Scoupy is free and makes money from companies that pay to put their products in the app storefront. It’s simple: buy a promotional item from the Scoupy app and save the receipt. Then send it to the app and scan the barcode of the product. The discount will then be deposited into your account within two working days.
The discount offer is updated daily, so there is always plenty of choice. It does not matter where you get the products, although you do have to take possible shipping costs into account when purchasing online.
2. Knaek
Knaek is just like the CJP Culture Card, but for students. You pay a fixed amount per academic year, after which you can take advantage of discounts at participating companies.
For example, you do not pay connection costs with your telephone subscription, you get a free sandwich at Bakker Bart or a 25 percent discount on a haircut. There are also more student-style discounts, such as a meter of beer for ten euros or two shots for the price of one.

Most promotions are only valid on presentation of your student card in combination with the Knaek app. It is extra convenient that you can also take advantage of discounts for online purchases. You will then be refunded part of the purchase amount. Knaek is active in every major student city, but the range of promotions varies greatly.
3. Student discount
Names don’t get much more effective than Student Discount. This app collects current deals from companies that are extra advantageous for students.

Through Student Discount, for example, you get a discount on your cinema ticket at Pathé or you can get the Adobe Creative Cloud package (including Photoshop) for less. In addition, the app tells you at which stores you can currently purchase extra affordable school equipment, such as a new laptop.
In addition to online discounts, the app also collects local deals. This way you have an overview per student city of places where you get a discount with your (digital) college card.
4. Spotify and Apple Music
What is life without music? Right. Fortunately, both Spotify and Apple Music offer a student subscription. This allows you to take advantage of all the benefits this package brings – such as being able to download songs, no ads and determine the playback order yourself – but for less.

The student subscription of Apple Music and Spotify costs 4.99 euros per month, half of a regular subscription. With both music services, you must prove that you are actually studying during registration by verifying your enrollment at the college or university.
Monthly theme Back to School
