Audi A5 Limousine shows itself again

From 4 to 5

Audi A5 spy shots

The brand new Audi A5 has been spotted again and this time it is the Limousine. So the four-door. This time not the S5, but just a more common version.

We are still in the middle of winter and that means that car manufacturers in the far north are busy testing their latest stuff. This also applies to Audi, which plows the brand new A5 through the snow in Sweden. A modest example, at least, compared to the last Audi A5 Limousine we spotted. That was an S5. Unfortunately for us, the camouflage has not become much more modest.

The rear lights are a little easier to see than before. This makes it more visible that they are connected to each other with a strip of lighting across the center of the tailgate. After all, that seems to be the way it should be these days and so the A5 also goes along with it. The successor to the A4, which will now carry an odd number because of its fuel power, has already been presented by our illustrator. There will also be an A5 Avant, as a successor to the A4 Avant. The question remains whether there will also be successors for the Audi A5 Coupé and Audi A5 Sportback. They would then simply keep their name.

In terms of propulsion, it basically remains with combustion engines (after all, a fully electric A4 will eventually be added next to it), but of course the A5 also has partly electric power. Count on various (plug-in) hybrid powertrains. Even the top model RS5 will become a plug-in hybrid. It is still exciting whether the RS5, like the RS4, still has a V6 in the nose, or whether a four-cylinder has to make it together with an electric motor.
