New V8 versions available later this year
Audi announces the prices of two new V8 versions of the A8. Top model S8 with 571 hp costs 193,850 euros, the A8 60 TDI with 435 hp diesel engine is 144,670 euros in the price list.
Audi adds two new top models to the range of the A8. The new S8, which was announced last July, can now be ordered for 193,850 euros. The sporty version is equipped with a 571 hp 4.0 V8 TFSI engine with mild hybrid technology. The equipment includes, in addition to the sporty-looking decoration, matrix-led headlights with laser high beam, leather upholstery, automatically controlled air conditioning with four zones, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, doors with servo closure and electrically operated rear sunblinds.
In addition to the S8, Audi is also announcing another V8 version, the A8 60 TDI with an electric compressor. The diesel engine has a capacity of 435 hp and a torque of no less than 900 Nm. The A8 60 TDI can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds. The new top diesel version is equipped as standard with Quattro four-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, LED lighting, a digital cockpit and an extensive multimedia and navigation system. Audi is asking 144,670 euros for the A8 60 TDI, the extended L version costs 147,870 euros.
