Do you think the Audi SQ7 is a tame appearance? Don’t worry, in-house tuner Abt has developed a package with aerodynamic extras for the top of the Q7 range.
Audi presented the newest SQ7 in the middle of last year simultaneously with the renewed SQ8 to the car country. Despite its 507 hp and 770 Nm strong 4.0 TFSI V8, the SQ7 is an executioner of an SUV, although you don’t immediately see its heavy powertrain. Fortunately, tuner Abt offers a solution.
Audi SQ7 (original)
Abt has developed a package with external extras for the 2.3-ton Audi SQ7. Abbot knocks out the wheel arches of the SQ7 and provides the sportiest variant of the Q7 not only with up to 22-inch large light metal, but also with an exuberant set of spoilers and bumpers, complete with a set of larger exhaust tailpipes. Abt’s SQ7 could just go through life as an RS version and with that the tuner has done a smart trick. After all, unlike an RSQ8, there is no RSQ7. Not charmed by the widebody Abbot pastes on that Q7? You can also contact Abt, the tuner also supplies a version without widened wheel arches.
The company says that a power cure is still under development, so expect more SQ7 violence driven by Abbot soon.
