Audi seems to be working on a large SUV even above the Q7 and Q8. Are we getting the first signs of life from that car here? Who knows!

In the seemingly insatiable market for SUVs, Audi will sooner or later make an extra contribution. Our spy photographer has snapped a mysterious SUV in the far and especially very cold north, which undoubtedly comes from the Audi line. At first glance it seems to be a sturdy boy of Q7 size, but logically it is not a new Q7. After all, a second facelift is on the way for the already quite old current Q7, which seems to be singing the fuel song in the coming years. A brand new Q7 with combustion engines will logically no longer be available. But what is it?

This may be the Audi Q9, a big brother for the Q7 that was recently announced. This would allow Audi to compete in the top segment with the BMW X7 and the Mercedes-Benz GLS at the last minute. That would in fact be related to the Q7, but on an extra long version of its base (such as the Bentley Bentayga EWB). Another possibility is that this is an SUV intended for China. Despite the camouflage, it can be seen that the Audi looks a bit like the Q6 sold in China, especially at the front. It also appeared camouflaged in Europe before its unveiling and aroused the suspicion that a Q9 may be on its way. Maybe now the time has really come?
