Automobili Pininfarina announced the arrival of a second production model at the end of 2019, a car that will be added to the company’s delivery range alongside the extreme Battista. Techzle can exclusively show you a set of patent plates of what may be the conceptual harbinger on Pininfarina’s new SUV-esque.
Automobili Pininfarina is the Pininfarina division that does more than just draw cars. Automobili Pininfarina is truly a car brand and with the fierce Battista, developed in close cooperation with the Croatian Rimac, Automobili Pininfarina has already completed its first production model. This electric hypercar will be joined by a whole series of electric models in the future. Techzle can exclusively show you the patent drawings of what is most likely a study model that looks ahead to Automobili Pininfarina’s second production model.
At the end of 2019, Automobili Pininfarina reported that it would draw the curtain on the Pura Vision Concept sometime in 2020, a car the company described as a luxury car. Automobili Pininfarina has still not shown that Pura Vision Concept. Most likely, the Pura Vision Concept is the car we see in these patent drawings. In August 2019, Automobili Pininfarina already showed a tiny piece of the Pura Vision Concept. The image released at the time already showed a piece of the roof of the study model, complete with a striking ‘imposed’ part. We also see that imposed part in these digital drawings.

A production model derived from this study model is undoubtedly on the roll for 2022 or 2023. Under that production version will be an electric platform developed together with Bosch, a modular base that will eventually serve under several EVs from Automobili Pininfarina. More later!
