The battery of the iPhone 14 Pro Max lasts quite a long time. But is the battery also better than that of the Pixel 7 Pro?

When you put the battery of the iPhone 14 Pro Max next to that of the Google Pixel 7 Pro, you might think that Google’s smartphone should be able to win easily. After all, the battery of Google’s flagship is a lot more powerful than that of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max.
For example, the Pixel 7 Pro has a large battery of 5000 mAH. This is in contrast to that of the iPhone with 4,323 mAH. Both smartphones also have a comparable display of 6.7 inches and variable refresh rates (Apple calls this promo-motion).
Still, the Tensor G2 chip with Android 13 is no match against the A16 chip in iOS 16.1. The YouTube channel PhoneBuff has compared the battery of both smartphones in various tests. And in all of them, the iPhone emerged as the winner. Watch the entire test in the video above.
The difference is so great that the iPhone 14 Pro Max still had about 21 percent of the battery charge left after all tests. According to the YouTube channel, you can send text messages for another 3.5 hours or use Instagram for more than 4 hours.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max lasted a total of 27 hours and 44 minutes. The Google Pixel 7 Pro had to throw in the towel after 25 hours and 41 minutes. Not a bad time, but with the iPhone you last longer on one battery charge.
