BMW iX1 eDrive20

BMW recently introduced a new entry-level version of its electric iX1. The BMW iX1 – in turn a variant of the X1 – is now also available as an eDrive20. Now we also know what the price of the BMW iX1 eDrive20 is.

Until recently, the electric BMW iX1 was only available as a four-wheel drive xDrive30. That version offers two combined 313 hp electric motors and a range of 436 kilometers. For the time being, you will always spend at least around 55 grand for that. Is that just too much for you or do you simply not need four-wheel drive? Then the new BMW iX1 eDrive20 might offer a solution. It only has one electric motor, is front-wheel drive and is on the order books for less than €50,000.

The price of the BMW iX1 eDrive20 is €48,316. As an eDrive20, the iX1 has a 204 hp and 247 Nm strong electric motor. This makes it considerably less powerful than the xDrive30, although you can reach a speed of 100 km/h in less than 9 seconds. Its top speed: 170 km/h. Just like the xDrive30, the iX1 eDrive20 has a 64.7 kWh battery pack. This gives the car a range of up to 475 kilometers. An empty package can be pumped full of fresh electricity with up to 130 kW. The fiscal value (consumer recommended price) is €47,034 and that means – unfortunately – that you are not eligible for the SEPP purchase subsidy.
