Milder Chiron Pur Sport

The Chiron Pur Sport that Bugatti presented in 2020 is the sporty top model of the Chiron. Although versions with ‘Sport’ in the name on an extreme supercar that actually already has a 1,500 hp 8.0 W16 with four turbos behind the front seats sound somewhat questionable, the Pur Sport is really the most dynamic Chiron. The version, limited to 60 pieces, is 50 kilos lighter than a regular Chiron and must cut through the air even more efficiently than the original. The Pur Sport also has stiffer dampers and a different position of the wheels.
Bugatti Chiron Profilee
Bugatti is now showing a Chiron of which it will only make one: the Chiron Profilée. The brand describes the one-off as a car that “combines the timeless elegance of the Chiron and Chiron Sport with the performance of the Pur Sport”. Bugatti started development of the Chiron Profilée in autumn 2020. By the time it was When the first prototype was ready, all 500 production sites of the Chiron family had already been filled, Bugatti has nevertheless decided to build one more copy of this Chiron Profilée, a tiny edition for a version of which more copies were intended.
The Chiron Profilée has a fixed rear spoiler integrated into the rear that should also provide it with sufficient downforce at high speed. The Bugatti Chiron Profilée has wider light inlets, a larger grille and modified bumper work. The 1,500 hp sixteen-cylinder is mated to a transmission with 15 percent shorter ratios than that of the Chiron Sport. In 2.3 seconds the colossus rushes to 100 km / h and in just 5.5 seconds you race over the asphalt at 200 km / h. The top speed of the Chiron Profilée is 380 km/h above that of the Pur Sport (350 km/h). Like the Pur Sport, the Argent Atlantique-colored Profilée has stiffer dampers. Bugatti proudly announces that the Profilée is the first Chiron with an interior in which ‘woven leather’ has been applied to the dashboard, door panels and center console.
