The Apple Watch has a different charger than the one you are used to. It is therefore not surprising that you do not immediately know how to charge the watch. This is everything you need to know about charging an Apple Watch.
Tip: Charge an Apple Watch
An Apple Watch is very economical and therefore you do not have to provide it with power often. When the battery is low, you will see a lightning icon appear on the screen of your watch. Now is the time to charge the Apple Watch. To do this, follow the directions below:
- First, take the Apple Watch off your wrist;
- Connect the Apple magnetic charging cable to the corresponding USB adapter and plug it into the wall socket;
- Place the back of the Apple Watch on the charger;
- When the watch is properly connected, you will see a green lightning bolt icon appear on the watch screen;
- Wait for the Apple Watch to charge.
While charging, your watch will go into night clock mode. This will show you the time, charging status and date on the screen. Is the battery of your Apple Watch completely empty? Then it can take up to 2.5 hours to get it completely full again. When your battery is half (or more) full, it usually takes a lot less time. In general, a full Apple Watch lasts for two days.
