According to various rumors, you will soon be able to charge the iPhone 15 a lot faster. But there is also a disadvantage…
iPhone 15 will soon be able to charge faster
Just wait a little longer and then the next iPhone will appear. The biggest changes with the iPhone 15 will probably be the disappearance of the lightning port. Instead, the iPhone will get USB-C for the first time.
You will also be able to charge the iPhone 15 faster if we are to believe the reports. The rumors about faster charging have been circulating before, but according to ‘several insiders’, the iPhone 15 will soon be able to charge at a speed of 35W.
At the moment, the iPhone 14 can handle a speed of up to 20W. The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) goes a step further and can handle up to 27W. It then takes about two hours to fully charge your iPhone.
If the iPhone 15 can indeed charge with 35W, it will therefore take less time for your iPhone to be fully charged. How much faster this will ultimately be is not yet known. Apple can also choose to make the battery slightly larger and that of course affects the charging time.
There is a disadvantage: you have to buy a new charger if you want to charge the fastest. Apple does not supply a charger with the iPhone.
Furthermore, it is not yet certain which iPhone 15 will get faster charging. There is a good chance that Apple will only introduce it with the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. After all, the iPhone 14 Pro can also charge faster than the regular iPhone 14.
iPhone 15: Please wait a little longer
Just a little patience and then the time has come: the next iPhone will be for sale. The new iPhones are expected to appear again in September. This year there are again four versions of the new iPhone: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
