Delivery range simplified
Citroën is sweeping its delivery range, resulting in a price reduction for all its models. Each Citroën can now only be ordered in one of three trim levels and is available with no more than five option packages. In this way, Citroën hopes to shorten delivery times, simplify the purchasing process and win over more customers.
You, Plus and Max: these are the names of the three trim levels that you can now order on all Citroën models. The brand chooses to simplify its delivery range considerably. Previously, most models from the French were available in five different flavors. The simplification means Citroën can shorten delivery times and lower starting prices – something the brand is probably doing to boost the likely disappointing sales.
Citroën indicates that despite the reduced prices, you should not expect ‘lesser’ cars. So you get the same for less money, but you can be less selective in what you get exactly. In addition to the choice of one of three trim levels, up to five option packages are available for each model. Examples are a winter package (including seat heating) and a technology package, including an induction charger for your telephone, for example. The brand still occasionally returns limited-edition and also says that the choice of body color is version-independent.
