Citroen Type Holidays

Do you think the retro Citroën HY based on the Jumpy and SpaceTourer is absolutely fantastic? Then take a good seat. Citroën now presents a real camper version of the ‘Type HG’, which listens to the name Citroën Type Holidays.

More than six years ago, the presentation of a Citroën Jumper dressed as an HY (Type H) caused smoking AutoWeek servers. That special retro decoration was then also prepared by the Italian coachbuilder Caselani for little brother Jumpy / SpaceTourer and that is how (under the approval of Citroën) the Citroën Type HG was created. It is that retro rascal that has now been transformed into a camper. Citroën presents it itself, in collaboration with Caselani and camper builder Bravia Mobil.

Citroen Type Holidays

The basic principle is of course the same; in this case it is a Citroën SpaceTourer that has different sheet metal, making it reminiscent of the Citroën HY of yesteryear. Inside, in this case, it is of course also a completely different story than in a regular SpaceTourer. There is a sofa that can be converted into a double bed. If desired, the sofa can also be removed in its entirety, giving you a very large loading space. The two seats in the front of the Citroën Type Holidays can also be turned towards the living area and with a fold-out table in between you have a cozy sitting area. Bravia Mobil has also provided a kitchenette with, among other things, a hob, sink and a refrigerator. A heating from Webasto ensures that you can still camp comfortably after the summer.

This Citroën Type Holidays is not a one-off camping party. Citroën says it will come up with a whole series of these Holidays motorhomes. More will be known about this at the end of this year.
