Cupra Born enters the new year with a significant price reduction

The Cupra Born will receive a nice price reduction at the last minute. The starting price drops by around €3,000 and there are also discounts higher up in the Born range.

Cupra is placing the electric Born in the promotional box for the second time in a short time. Now, prices are going up in the context of New Year’s Eve. The starting price of the Cupra Born drops from just under €40,000 to €36,940. Then you have the same entry-level model as before, namely the Impulse, with a 204 hp electric motor and the 58 kWh battery pack.

From now on, it will be the only Born with that power, because one step higher you immediately have the 231 hp Born. It is available with the 58 kWh battery pack from €38,990 as Essential. Previously it started with that powertrain with the €43,990 Adrenaline, so here the advantage is even greater. The Essential version is just not completely comparable to the Adrenaline. The Essential takes the standard equipment of the Born and adds 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, heated seats, illuminated door handles, the Cupra button and the driving mode button on the steering wheel and a wireless charging option for phones.

Do you want the Cupra Born with 231 hp and the largest 77 kWh battery pack? Then you will lose €46,990 in the future. Then you have it as the Business aimed at the business driver. Previously, this drivetrain started at €49,990 for the Adrenaline, but that is not returning. The Performance version does. It now costs €51,990, which is €1,000 less than before.
