Dacia Jogger 140 Hybrid to Paris

Since the unveiling of the Dacia Jogger, we have known that this particularly practical mix between station wagon and MPV will also be available as a hybrid. That is relatively big news, because Dacia currently has no hybrids in its range. The hybrid Jogger will officially be called Dacia Jogger 140 Hybrid. He gets the powertrain that, for example, can also be found in the Renault Clio Hybrid 140 (yes, the other way around). That means that special technology will be hidden under the sober Dacia coach, because Renault’s hybrids are certainly not commonplace. With two electric motors, a mechanical four-speed gearbox, two electronic gears and an atmospheric 1.6, the hybrid Jogger should be considerably more economical and also smoother than the already existing versions, which deliver 100 or 110 hp from a 1.0-liter three-cylinder.

First Jogger with automatic

Whether that also means that the hybrid is the most economical to use remains to be seen. After all, the Jogger is also available on LPG, just like many other Dacias. However, the Jogger 140 Hybrid is more powerful. In addition, the Jogger Hybrid will be the first Jogger with an automatic transmission, which may make it interesting for a new target group. We will be told exact specifications on or around October 17, when the Paris auto show will open its gates.

In Paris, the Dacia stand will showcase not only the hybrid Jogger, but also the special Dacia Manifesto Concept. In addition, the entire line-up will appear with a modified front with the new Dacia logo. Dacia also takes the Duster ‘Mat Edition’ with it, which is described as ‘a collector’s item for enthusiasts’. So put that Mercedes AMG G63 order on hold for a while.
