Only as a seven-seater

From tomorrow (Friday), the Dacia Jogger can also be ordered as a hybrid for a starting price of €29,650. It is the only variant of the Jogger with an automatic gearbox and the Hybrid is only available in the Netherlands as a seven-seater. The Hybrid also has a richer standard equipment on other fronts, so that the effective additional price of the powertrain comes to €3,950. The car can be seen at the dealer from April.
We were recently able to share all the technical data of the Dacia Jogger Hybrid with you, but from today the price of the first hybrid Dacia is also known. The Jogger with a hybrid powertrain costs from €29,650 euros and for that money you always get the seven-seat configuration and an automatic gearbox. The latter is not available with the other motorisations of the Jogger.
With a starting price of just under €30,000, the Jogger Hybrid is significantly more expensive than the entry-level model with a 1-liter petrol engine with 100 hp and the option to fill up with LPG. The third engine option for the Jogger is another 1-liter that produces not 100, but 110 horsepower. That car also has a higher maximum torque than the 100 hp version (200 Nm instead of 170 Nm), but only likes petrol.
The Jogger Hybrid shares its powertrain with the Renault Clio Hybrid and therefore has a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder under its hood with an output of 90 hp. By adding an electric motor, the system power is 140 hp. This means that the seven-seater Jogger sprints to 100 km/h in 10 seconds, according to the manufacturer’s specification, which is 1.2 to 3 seconds less than the other Joggers need for this. The theoretical combined consumption is 4.9 liters per 100 km. For the non-hybrid variants, that is 5.6 to 6.1 liters.
Richer standard equipment
They are listed in the price lists for from €22,700 and are therefore potentially considerably cheaper. Please note: for that starting price you do not get the seven, but a five-seater configuration and you always have a manual six-speed gearbox. The Hybrid not only puts more seats, an automatic transmission and more power compared to the ‘regular’ variants, but is also richer equipped as standard. It can only be ordered as ‘Expression’ or ‘Extreme’ and not as ‘Essential’, which is the basic equipment level for the slower Joggers.
The second trim level, Expression in other words, costs in those cars in combination with seven seats from €25,700, bringing the effective additional price for the hybrid powertrain to €3,950.

You will never find an automatic gear lever and a digital set of instruments in other versions of the Dacia Jogger.
