Dacia scraps Duster engine versions

Dacia is reviewing the Dutch delivery program of the Duster. The brand is scrapping a number of engine versions of the sober SUV and reducing the power of the base engine. Techzle immediately has all prices!

The engine range of the Duster was quite extensive until recently. For example, you could get the Romanian Duster with the TCe 100, TCe 130 and TCe 150 petrol engines and for the smart calculators it had a TCe 100 Bi-Fuel on the menu. The TCe 100 Bi-Fuel, an engine that, in addition to petrol, also needs LPG, has been removed from the Dutch delivery list. In addition, the Duster is no longer available with four-wheel drive from now on. Until recently, the TCe 130 was available with both front and four-wheel drive, but the four-wheel drive variant is cut from the price list. The TCe 150 will remain available as before.

The power of the entry-level engine, the 100 hp and 160 Nm strong TCe 100, is reduced. The now called TCe 90 machine delivers 91 hp, although the torque with 160 Nm remains identical to that of the TCe 100. Just as before, it is a 999 cc three-cylinder. Like all other engine versions, this petrol engine, coupled to a manual gearbox, helps the Dacia Duster reach a speed of 100 km / h in 13.8 seconds. Average consumption is set at 5.6-5.7 l / 100 km.

With the above adjustments, the entire Duster range complies with the Euro 6D Full emission standard, which car manufacturers must comply with from 1 January 2021. After the adjustment round, the Duster has become € 410 more expensive across the board.
