Delete emails you no longer need from iPad.

It is not necessary to save all read emails. Just throw away e-mails that you definitely don’t use anymore. That saves space.
Delete mail via an open message
An open email has an icon of a trash can at the top right. Tap that and the message will disappear immediately.
Delete mail via the overview in a mailbox
- Rotate the iPad so that it is placed in landscape orientation.
- On the left are all e-mails in the mailbox ‘Incoming’. If you are not in this mailbox, tap at the top left PO Boxes > Incoming.
- Swipe from right to left on a message you want to delete.
- A red ‘Trash’ or ‘To Trash’ button will appear. Continue swiping and the message will be deleted immediately.
Delete messages permanently
- Rotate the iPad so that it is placed in landscape orientation.
- Tap at the top left PO Boxes or Previous.
- Tap on trash can.
- Tap on Change.
- Tap at the top left Select all.
- Tap at the bottom Delete.
- Tap on Delete all.
The Trash is now empty.
Delete multiple emails at once
- Rotate the iPad so that it is placed in landscape orientation.
- On the left are all e-mails in the mailbox ‘Incoming’. If you are not in this mailbox, tap at the top left PO Boxes > Incoming.
- Tap at the top left Change.
- Tap all the messages you want to delete.
- Finally tap at the bottom of trash.
The messages disappear immediately.
