Secret easter egg in Apple Store app on your iPhone
To be clear right away: the easter egg can be found in the Apple Store app. So this is not the App Store app where you normally get new apps, games and updates. If the Apple Store app is not available on your iPhone, you must first download it from the App Store.
Then follow the steps below to view the easter egg in the Apple Store app.
To view the secret easter egg in the Apple Store app on your iPhone:
- Open the Apple Store app (not the App Store);
- Tap the ‘Search’ button at the bottom;
- In the search box at the top, type ‘Let it snow’;
- It then starts snowing in the Apple Store app.
It’s not the first time Apple has let it snow in the Apple Store app. The snow shower was introduced in the app several years ago and every year the winter shower reappears.
More easter eggs on your iPhone
Incidentally, this is not the only secret Easter egg that Apple has hidden on the iPhone. The voice assistant Siri also has some nice answers ready for you. Just ask Siri “What are you doing?” and “What are you doing?”. You can even have Siri rap or beatbox. Handy if your Apple Music subscription has just ended and you still want music. And if you want to mess up Siri all over, you should ask “What is 0 divided by 0?”.
