Apple has announced the new iPhone! The iPhone 15 has been available for pre-order since last week and will appear in stores tomorrow. If you have ordered the new iPhone, you will receive the phone at home this Friday. At least we hope so, because the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max are now experiencing long delivery times. Still, it is smart to look into options for trading in your old iPhone now.

Once you finally get the new iPhone 15, there’s a good chance your old phone will disappear into a drawer somewhere. You probably only use the device very little, so trading in the iPhone may be a better option. You often get quite a bit of money back, depending on where you return the device. We list the options for you!
1. Exchange with KPN
At KPN you can choose from various options when trading in your old iPhone. With both the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) and the iPhone 15 (Plus), you get up to 500 euros back when you return your previous device. The amount of this amount naturally varies per telephone. For example, an iPhone 14 Pro 128 GB that still looks like new will set you back no less than 579 euros.

2. Trade in at Apple itself
With plenty of providers you can trade in an old iPhone when buying a new device. Do you always buy the new iPhone from Apple itself? Then you can also hand in your old device there. The big disadvantage is that you often get (much) less money for your previous iPhone with Apple than with other providers. This depends on the country in which you buy the iPhone, because there are significant differences between the Netherlands and Belgium.
In the Netherlands, prices at Apple’s Trade In are much higher than in Belgium. While in the Netherlands you get up to 730 euros back for an iPhone 14 Pro, in Belgium this amount remains at only 510 euros. A huge difference, so it depends on your location whether trading in your iPhone with Apple is the right option. 3. Trade in with Swappie
