Not 75, but 100

Donkervoort is not building 75, but 100 copies of the new F22. You can guess the reason: the model is popular.
The Donkervoort F22 is a new interpretation of the recipe that Donkervoort has used successfully for so many years. The hyper-exclusive and modern-looking extremist costs at least €240,000, but that did not stop 75 people from ordering a copy immediately. That is why we were able to report in December, two weeks after the unveiling, that the entire edition of 75 pieces had been sold out.
Donkervoort is building 25 extra units in order to serve more customers. The first of these are already sold out before the press release was sent out, so who knows, the entire extra edition may already be gone by the time you read this. They are also working on this for longer in Lelystad. Initially, production of the entire series would take until the end of 2024, now the last copies will not be delivered until mid-2025. But yes, those copies would not have existed at all otherwise.
According to Donkervoort, the demand often, but certainly not always, comes from Western Europe. F22s are also said to have been ordered from North America, the United Arab Emirates and Israel. Donkervoort does not have to radically change its activities because of the upcoming, albeit not so sure anymore ban on internal combustion engines from 2035 in the EU. There is an exception for this for small manufacturers, and Donkervoort also falls into that category with 100 F22s.
